Kieran Bliss B.Sc.(eng), C.P.(c)
Kieran graduated from the University of Guelph with an Honours degree in Bio-engineering in 2000. Upon graduation, Kieran worked for Labatt Breweries of Canada for 3 years. In 2003, Kieran commenced his education in Prosthetics and Orthotics at George Brown College. After completing the Clinical Methods in Prosthetics and Orthotics program, he began his residency at Design Prosthetics in Oshawa. In 2007, he became a Certified Prosthetist under the CBCPO. Kieran is a past-president of the Ontario Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists (OAPO), has sat on the board of the Canadian Association of Prosthetics and Orthotics (CAPO), has been an examiner for the Canadian Board for Certification of Prosthetists and Orthotists (CBCPO) certification exams and has sat on numerous other national boards. Kieran’s experience includes pediatrics prosthetics, geriatric prosthetics, upper limb prosthetics, both myoelectric and conventional. He is very passionate about the field of Prosthetics and even more passionate about providing optimal patient care to the amputee population of Durham Region and Surroundings.
